Notice on Research Maintenance for Sponsored Projects Funding Program

Dear Colleagues,

Vice President Forrest, in consultation with Dean Woolliscroft, has suspended the OVPR Research Maintenance for Sponsored Projects funding program for the Medical School, effective May 1, 2008. Demands resulting from NIH funding declines have exhausted the resources devoted to this program. Pending further notice, the suspension is extended to ALL SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES for the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2009 while we re-work the program to determine its appropriate scope and priorities. The Bridging Support for Research Faculty funding program will continue according to published guidelines.
